Day 2 Mt Vernon 7/14/20
Today is Tuesday and we went to Bellingham.
We started our visit to Bellingham with Whatcom Falls Park which is always a favorite.
We hiked around a bit and saw some areas we had not seen on previous visits.
Owls
The highlight of the day was coming across a trio of barred Owls. Owls have been on our list of things to see since we became interested in birds earlier this year, so we were quite excited to spot these! It appears that there was one adult owl and a pair of juveniles.
Fairhaven
Fairhaven has always been a favorite part of Bellingham. In fact we always end up spending mort of our time in Fairhaven when visiting Bellingham. Today was no exception, we walked the waterfront trail and around downtown Fairhaven to wrap up the day.
